pretty in pink.

Alrighty, break from Disney stuff! Cliche title but I can't get over this cake from Maggie Austin. It's flawless.

In my favourite dream.

Stella Starr jacket, Marc Jacobs tee shirt, denim leggings, Converse shoes, Simply Vera by Vera Wang bag, and Swatch watch.

My first outfit in Disneyland. I love the jacket so much. You can't see it very well but there is so very cool lace details. More to come!

old man rivers.

Beautiful sceneries and boats from Disney.

Finally recovering from Black Friday and Thanksgiving. I went into the city last night to see the tree lightning and was hoping to see Johnny Weir. Didn't see Johnny because I wasn't anticipating on how crowded it would be. Deals at Black Friday didn't seem too awesome but I still have the whole season to shop.

Happy Christmas season! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.

dream catcher.

From inside Small World.

It's a bit cliche to post this on Thanksgiving but I love it. The glittery dream catchers were great. Happy Thanksgiving everyone! :)

Can we fall one more time.

One again, I present the world's best dressed boy band. One Direction, the UK boy band came out with this video a couple weeks ago. The styling I must say is impeccable. As I've said before just really clean and not flashy. The layering is also great and they really do have this boyish charm. Zayn's sharp burgundy peacoat is a piece I dream of having myself. Not to mention the old Bug, Vespa, and Mini Cooper. I've dawned through many pictures of these boys looking at their styles. Harry seems to love scarves and Louis is always in suspenders and it shows up here in this video which I like because their stylist really takes in their personalities. Sometimes I don't know if I am in love with them or their style; probably both know that I think about it. I also love menswear, it's so inspiring. One of the few things that encourages me to be a stylist or costume designer in the future.

Well, I had an Art midterm to write. Enjoy!

let's pack up.

Hello my darlings! My past week has been full of shenanigans and getting sick. :/ I'm starting to officially blog about Disneyland. The two bags I brought with my I received over the summer. Great traveling bags. And yes, I was about to stuff everything in my suitcase with extra room. And I put a bow in it along with a sea turtle luggage tag I got in a Maui trip. I also stuck in postcards from Small World and Mango Hi-Chew that my friend spoils me with. More to come.

I hope you all had a great weekend. Any plans for Thanksgiving or getting ready for Black Friday yet?

Street Style: Roxanne.

Before I start my Disney spreads, I'd like to introduce a new section to my blog: Street Style. Street Style started a couple years ago within the fashion blogging world. There are even specific street style blogs from all over the world that inspire all the time. The most well-known one and my favourites Street Style blogs include: The Satorialist, Work It, Berk, the fashionist, Stockholm StreetStyle, and hel-looks.

For this   I created my own business card (finally), which is something I've wanted to do for awhile. I'll show them to you soon but they feature some pictures taken by my good friend Jake Sigl from years ago. I plan to get as many cool kids that catch my eye when I'm on the streets of San Francisco or anywhere. I admit, it's hard, while I was in Disneyland I was denied a few times or let people pass me by but I'll get used to it.

For my first Street Style post, I caught a girl named Roxanne while I was in California Adventure. She just really had this L.A. cool vibe that I really liked.

I'm excited for more posts that I will have in the future.

Have a good weekend!

We're thinking of those we left back home.

I got back home yesterday evening. Disneyland was great. I'll have to talk about it later though. I have two papers to write. I took many pictures.

Hope you all had a great weekend! Ready for the Christmas season yet? I am. :)

packing.

I'm off to Disneyland today. I'm so excited. This time instead of going with my family I am going with my best friend Alex whom I met through my Academy of Art classes last summer. This trip has been a dream of ours for a long time. It's expected to be raining and busy but I still hope for the best. As my friend Kaylee said, "Disneyland is fun no matter what!" It will be great to go with a friend this time who appreciates it as much as I do and will ride almost all the rides with me. I also worked really hard to pay for the ticket myself.

We're flying there which I have never done before and I managed to fit everything in my vintage suitcase I got over the summer at a garage sale for free. I planned my outfits a week in advance. It may look like alot but it's 3 outfits with layering because if the weather. I like to be prepared and I love traveling. I also don't get to do it often. Felix the sock monkey is coming with me too. :)

Well I hope you all have a good weekend! :)

Inspired by my trip tomorrow! :) Another quote that I loved about Disneyland.

"Disneyland is a work of love. We didn't go into Disneyland just with the idea of making money."

Mark.

Ever since I came across a Mark Warren Jacques x F.U.N. shirt at Urban Outfitters two years ago I have been in love with Mark Warren Jacques' work. He has a way of making abstract art really meaningful. It's something you can easily relate to and feel. It's beautiful, detailed and colourful. Simply wonderful. And I had no idea until after watching this video that he created his work with spray paint. So cool.

The many webcam photos of my wearing the shirt. It's one of my favourites.

I also had his art on my old phone.

I missed his last gallery in SF last year but now he's coming back this December. Any of you hipsters want to come to the opening with me?

Hope you all had a great weekend! Back to work for me.

betsey.

A gorgeous Betsey Johnson bracelette that was gifted to me from my dear friend. :) I saw it once in Nordstrom Rack but left it and it haunted my mind. I was eventually going to go back and get it but then he went back and swooped it for me. This bracelette has become an everyday staple for me.

pumpkin soup.

Vintage hat, Talbots dress, J.Crew belt, Forever 21 sunglasses, Gold Toe socks, H&M booties, and assorted jewelry.

I purchased this dress about a year ago when I used to work at the thrift store. It's a lovely dress, suede-like burnt orange material and a perfect fit since it's a petite size. I haven't had the chance to wear it because I wasn't sure how to. It sat in my closet for a year. I was a bit afraid of the length of it but then since longer skirts came back this year it was time to bring it out. Also since Talbots seems to be more aimed at an older age group I made this look a bit younger.

Happy November everyone! :)
