Hello there! My name is Jenae Lee and I am a 20 year old fashion blogger from the San Francisco Bay Area in California. I love coffee, Netflix, tea, shopping, interior design, traveling, Disney, nail polish, and of course, my boyfriend Parker. I dream of working in the fashion industry, traveling the world, and having the perfect closet.
My blog is ever evolving as I am. My blog is not only fashion but it is my life as well. I will post pictures of my outfits, what I am inspired by, my travels, and my occasional trip to Disneyland (I'm an Annual Passholder).
My style cannot really be defined but if I had to put a word to it, it would be "eclectic." I would say because I wake up every morning feeling different and my outfit is kind of like a "theme." Sometimes depending on the event, I like being a little literal. I mean, just look at the picture of me above. I'm sailing off on a cruise in what appears to be a sailor ensemble with a matching Juicy Couture anchor necklace. I am also very detail oriented and love color.
The Past
I have had this blog since September 2006, but at first, it was just a personal blog. Then in November 2008 I decided that I would turn this into a fashion blog but didn't become real effective till August 2009 (I removed a whole year of posts because they were too unprofessional.)
In high school from 2009-2010, I was a fashion columnist for the school newspaper under "Jenae Is Today." I loved having my own space in the newspaper where I could write what I wanted, for it then to be printed and sent out for the whole school (which felt like the whole world) to read! I loved the positive feedback from my friends and peers when they told me that they always looked forward to what I would write and share next!
From Summer of 2010 to Spring 2011, I participated in Pre-College Fashion courses at Academy of Art University in San Francisco. There I took classes in Fashion Journalism, Fashion Merchandising, and received Outstanding Achievement awards in Fashion Illustration, Fashion Design, and Fashion Styling. These classes truly changed my life and there I met some life long friends.
I then graduated from high school with a High Honors in Fine Arts.
Currently
Right now, I am a nanny and am in between jobs. I'm also on a gap year from community college. I am a social media intern for local San Francisco fashion designer, Alyssa Casares of Alyssa Nicole.
