mad world.

Happy Halloween! This is from a Halloween party I went to Saturday night. If you can't tell I'm basically a girl version of Donnie Darko. The sweater is the result of my Charlavail project I had awhile ago. It turned out great.

Have a good night everyone!

great pumpkins.

The glass pumpkin on the left is the one I bought for my mum this year and the one of the right is one I received from Molly's family last year. In the upcoming year I hope to get some for my siblings as well.

bandage the damage.

Comme des Garcons shirt, American Rag vest, Industry leggings, Swatch watch, and Converse.

This is from a couple weeks ago. My camera was messed up so the colours were coming out colder, but I still like it. I don't know if you can tell but the leggings are tie-dyed with green, which I really loved. This outfit is definitely pretty edgy, I thought very Teen Vogue-esce.

I hope everyone has a good weekend. Happy Halloween darlings! :)

foley the fish.

Over the summer, I really wanted a Beta fish. So my friend Inakkhi and I took a trip to the pet store to pick one up. It was really hard picking one because they were all so pretty. You can't tell in these pictures but the fish is crimson red, purple, and lilac. I thought this combination was co cool that I picked this fish. I placed the fish in a vase I had gotten at Ikea years ago and put marbles for the floor. After weeks of thinking, I decided to name the fish Foley like the clothing brand Foley + Corinna.

Happy Monday! I am looking forward to a busy but great week. :)

glass pumpkin patch.

For the second year in a row, my best friend Molly took me a long with her to the Great Glass Pumpkin Patch in Palo Alto where pumpkins and even more are beautifully made with glass by artists.

It's so pretty looking at all my pumpkins. And I was able to buy one for my mum to accompany the one Molly's family gifted me last year.

Have a great weekend darlings!

clean slate.

moded amour, weheartit, stockholm.

Ever since I became friend with my friend Parker, we've been obsessing about white Converse. So clean, classic and there is some so of comfort about it. Definitely going to become a closet staple. I've been collecting images of white Converse for awhile to create this mood board. I can't wait to own a pair of these lovelies.

Hope you all have a good week! Happy Straight Edge Day!

rings.

So pretty right? My favourite stone is Titanium Quartz, it's so rainbow-y. I would love a piece of jewelry such as the ring with it on it.

new sunnies.

Forever 21 $5 and PacSun $6.

I love this shape! I never shop at Forever 21 but I liked these. Tortoise and aquamarine for a pop of colour. :)

a new love for haight.

Awhile ago I took a trip to Haight with some of my friends. It was filled with vintage shopping and good food.  Photos by Noelle Tobias.

starry night.

I've always admired Van Gogh's "Starry Night;" the details, the colours, just the whole feeling and magic of the painting is so intriguing. I still believe he is one of the best painters of all time. I also now feel that the painting has become a part of me.

When I was in Ceramics last year, we were assigned to created a piece inspired by an artist so I decided to recreate Starry Night on a plate. I had to paint it on with acrylics instead of the Ceramics paint to get all the colours and precision right. The painting part took about two weeks It was worth it because my end product was beautiful and helped me into receiving High Honors in Fine Arts. It really meant a lot to me, especially in my senior year.

Recently I made it into my phone cover, replacing all the pyramid studs I had. I get many compliments on my phone and I really love it.

Sorry, I've been lacking in posts this week. I'm running low on posts and a schedule. Besides a few designers, it's been hard for me to keep up with all the Fashion Weeks so I don't think I'll have any posts about that this year. I haven't really touched my October issues for my magazines. I barely have outfit posts of myself since I only have school two days a week and most days they are good but not picture worthy because of having to dress for comfort because I'm out of the house for a full 12 or more hours those days.

I also now have a babysitting job two days a week all day. Two twin one year old girls! They are really adorable but A LOT  of work. It's worth it though.

I have new ideas for my blog though so it's not all so disappointing. It's going to be really awesome and different.

Have a great weekend! I am in love with this colder weather. It makes me so extremely happy.

shoes, shoes, shoes.

I thought that today I would share my shoe collection. I currently have 40 pairs, not including the ones I don't really wear and shows I've passed down to my sister. And since my sister has the same size as me now I will probably pass down more of my shoes to her that I don't wear. My collection pretty much takes up one side of my room, but I don't really mind though because I love looking at all of them. I hope in the future to have a huge bookcase for them or someday, a walk-in closet. Also hoping to own a pair of Christian Louboutins, Salvatore Ferragamos, Manolos, Burberry rain boots, and Jimmy Choos in my collection when I have a lot of money to spend in the future.

When I was younger I didn't realize how important shoes are I always thought, "Shoes? Whatever, no one looks at your feet." Oh, I was wrong. I absolutely love shoes now. A mixture of heels, flats, oxfords, kitten heels, wedges, pumps, loafers, converse, boots, top-siders, but not sandals or flip flops. I don't like them and never felt comfortable in them.

Most recent purchases:

Sam Edelmans. (scored at Nordstrom Rack for $19.99)
MIA. (scored at Nordstrom Rack for $29.99)

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Happy October!

pack your bags.

Isn't it lovely?! Received it for free at the Niles Flea market. I'm excited to use it for my trip to Disneyland.
