I've waited two years for this! Jessicka and I are going to see the first showing. I'm so excited! I just got Brandon into these movies and he's been having a marathon of them! :) I'm going to call him to get his reflection of them. I love all films made by Hayao Miyazaki. I'm so unbelievely stoked, you don't even know. :)
I'm posting this so late! But I need to get caught up.
So after the show, I went to Jordan's house and slept over. Then that morning, I was picked up to go to the beach! We ran into some trouble on the way but it was all fine. The car was just causing problems. After alot of driving in circles we finally arrived at the beach. It was a pretty day and Becker picked a nice beach by a lighthouse. :)
So here is the shirt I made for Christofer Drew.

The lovely Jordan and I from The Ready Set. :)
Clayton and I from A Bird A Sparrow. He was so conceited. :D
here's his cover of "I Want To Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles.
Isn't he adorable?
Meeting him was like a dream come true and I can't wait to see him for a third time. :) Recently, he posted a blog about how he's been kind of depressed lately because his girlfriend of two and a half years broke up with him and his parents are getting a divorce. The poor child! :( Please pray for him.
We had hella fun dude. We srsly need to do that more often. So, I met up with Molly at Borders, we got Seattle's Best and read some magazines and books. God, I love Borders. I need to go there more often.
Then we went shopping around a bit. Returned some stuff. I had alot of dough so I was going crazy. I bought the shirt for Christofer Drew, a new red pocket skirt, a porkpie hat (that I absolutely love and I am so glad I got it!) nail polish, gum, and nail polish remover at Target. Then we went to King Noodle and I had noodles. :) I felt so healthy and sophisticated being in there.
Noodles. :) yummmyyy.
Me trying on a size 20 shoe at Marshall's. Those things were creeepy!
Oh, the day before I was making my shirt for warped tour and I failed. The paint was so watery.
Can you believe it? ughhhh. Well let's start from the beginning. Alex, Shana, and I waited around at BART for the rest of our group. Had interesting conversations, and then we met up wuth Kevin Yamaguchi, Max, Jamie, and Kyle. Kevin had a sick shirt that he made that says PROTRUTH on it. We got onto BART and I was so tired, not gonna lie, I didn't get very good sleep. It was hot as hell dude. So we got there then Alex and I basically split. We wanted to see totally different stuff this year. But it was cool because I ran around with jamie all day. She's really cool to go to shows with. I can't wait to hang out with her again next time. Anyway, they went to go to see Dance Gavin Dance or something and Jamie and I didn't wanted to so we strolled around a bit.
I hung out with Sing It Loud! They are so nice. I ended up buying so much of their merch! Well, I got a shirt for Kayla and a shirt for me that came with free fat bracelettes that said "Come Around" on it. Then I got their CD. Man, those kids advertise well and are really nice to their fans. I got to talk to Benjamin a bit, he's the BF of Linden's Cassie. I love those sisters Kara and Cassie, they have great style, great music, they are my role models. :) They're such a bubblegum band as Matt would say. Jamie and I were suprised on how many boys were in that crowd. I pinky promised them that I'd see their show. I was sad that I missed their acoustic set. :( I hope Alex Gaskarth jumps in the song that he's featured in the next Warped. They had Nick Santino fill in for him. it was cute. :)
Blake, Jerry, Devin, me, Sierra, & Anthony. :)
Benjamin, Nate, and Pat.
After that, we went to BrokeNCYDE just to stop by and listen to the only song I liked lol. We hung around a little more then we went to see Versa Emerge at their table. Only Anthony was there and I'm not gonna lie. I formed at fat crush on him lol. He's so cute!
Then we ran over to go see UnderOath. Truely amazing, so epic. It was so cool to see then since I've loved them since 6th grade. I fell in love with Aaron Gillepsie all over again. They played all their good songs from their old albums except "Reinventing Your Exit," but that's okay.
After that we sprinted to VersaEmerge and sadly we missed them because they were playing at the same time as UnderOath. But we'll see them next time. We took pictures with them. Anthony kept smiling at me and I got squirmy. "You're such a girl Jenae!" I am. ahaha. Sierra is so beautiful.
I think after that we sprinted like maniacs, dodging and pushing through people (it was hella funny), to go see A Day To Rememeber. We were panting when we got there. Wewere right by a hxc dancing pit. It was interesting I had to keep pushing people away from me, the guy in front of me was protecting me so that was nice. Then I ran into Paolo and Tim there. I miss them. Anway, ADTR was legittt. We missed "The Downfall of Us All," but that's alright.
Then I ditched The Maine (I know my favourite band! They'll be there next time) and we went to go see There for Tomorrow. I hung around for a couple songs then jumped into their line to meet them. While waiting I talked to some girl about Demetri Martin and this asain kid who was really nice. So I got to meet them and they signed my backpack. I didn't get to take a picture with them because they were doing that at 7:00 which is that same time that A Rocket To The Moon was doing it. They'll be at the next one, so I got a high-five from Chris Kamrada (it was cool to meet him buut I want a picture with him!) and went to ARTTM.
awhhh, just look at him! ahaha.
somebody else took it but I love it.
From Chris' TwitPic. I'm in there somewhere.
So then I ran over to see A Rocket To The Moon right? He was amazing. That might have been my favourite performance of the day. I was extremely sad that I didn't get to see their whole set. I jumped their line after a few songs. Dakota was such much fun!
They sounded so much better if you were there. I'm to the right somewhere, lol.
So I met Nick Santino and gave him the bracelette. He's so nice! :) After a long, hot day, we finally started going home. Somehow I survived on two granola bars in the morining, a bit of Snapple Iced Tea, then another water bottle at warped which was a ripoff and a granola bar from Jamie. I was hungry and had shin splints. So we gathered up again and walked around to find the nearest StarBucks for free water. We gave up then just went to a 7-!! or somwthing like that. I got a huge water bottle. Kevin got some almonds and a carton of OJ! ahhaa. It was hella funny watching other people's faces as we all shared and drinked out of the carton. It was delicious.
Then we talked about our day and blahblkablah. Oh, btw 30H3! can fshcgcking suck it dude. I'm so over that trash. They sounded like shit and they are shit. lol. Well then, we got home and Max took me home and that was that. I'm so excited for the next one. ALL TIME LOW BABY!
:)
I want to meet Aaron Gillespie, it'll be so hard though. Jamie and I plan to stalk him next time. Hahaha. It's good to have a friend that likes the same stuff.
Then Kayla came buy and thought it was cool so I gave it to her. I didn't really want to make a shirt that says I LOST THE GAME anyway. People would hate on me! lol. :D Oh and those are my new Metallic Sanuks that Jessicka got for my burfday. Did I show you those yet?
Well it looks alot like this.
They are SO comfortable. Not joking.
So this is my second year at Warped Tour and I must say it was pretty good for the most part. except for the fact that they lined up all he bands I wanted to see at the same time! So I missed half the bands I wanted to see. But that's okay because I am absolutely going to the second on on Aug 20.
