So last summer I went to Santa Cruz with a few friends. We took some pictures and one of them is now my banner. What do you think of it? Then I was playing around with some of the other images and made this gif.

In the beginning of the month I went to a beautiful place called Moro Bay a couple hours away from the Bay Area. It's a gorgeous place with cool places to shop at and plenty of scenery. I'm dying to go there again.

Ain't Love Grand.

Title inspired by a song from The Decoration. This is from my outfit post last year. Super excited for Valentine's day this year. I loved seeing all the cute items in all the stores. But unfortunately, I have my Interior Design class till 9:40 at night so my boyfriend and I are delaying our date till Friday.

I hope you all have a great Valentine's day and I hope that you know that you don't need a "significant other" to enjoy Valentine's day. Grab a family member or friend and do something special. If not, I bet getting some good food, a movie, and cuddling with your dog or cat is just as great.

All I can do is give in.

Last month, I wanted to get in a Santa Cruz trip while the weather was nice and before school started. So two of my friends and I headed south. It was a pretty day with no one on the beach.

Alyssa Nicole 2012.

My favourite local Bay Area Designer, Alyssa Casares, just came out with her new spring collection last week for her line, Alyssa Nicole. Here is a description from her blog about the new collection:

"I wanted to design a collection inspired by "California Girls", and since I am a California girl myself, I've had plenty of 'fun in the sun' memories to help inspire this line. I handmade and designed all the dresses & accessories myself. I am really excited about the reconstructed vintage straw handbags, I found the cutest assorted fruit decorative patches to put on each bag."

I really admire how Alyssa has stepped it up with her own prints in the dresses and scarves. Especially with the bags! I am truly impressed. I love the lookbook video too. It's like watching a little runway show.

mickey mouse club.

To start off Feburary, I'm posting about Disneyland again. I still obsess over it and hope to go again soon. I have to think about getting an Annual pass. 

Before I had even made the trip I had designated this button up as my "Disneyland shirt." Even my mum noticed. The colours of it just reminded me of Small World and the diamond shapes reminded me of Sleeping Beauty and The Sword in the Stone Medieval patterns.

On the last morning, Alex and I went to Toon Town  where we were greeted by Minnie and Goofy. It was truly adorable watching all the little kids run to see them with their arms wide open. The picture of us with Mickey is the best picture we took together.
