This look was sort of inspired by Chloe in a way with the camel coat. I kept this one pretty simple.

I just thought I'd share this cute little video with you. I've been having dreams about it since I saw it.

Created by Jude Feller, lily + jae blends feminine and masculine styles to create a flirtatious line of contemporary women's wear.

After seven years in the costume department for film and television Jude left to pursue her dream in fashion. She launched her debut collection in spring of 2007. Within a year the brand expanded into the USA, followed by international recognition in Japan six months later.

lily + jae has progressed into a responsive fashion label with appeal to the contemporary woman. The brand has appeared in Teen Vogue, British Glamour, and Nylon, and have been seen on stars such as Lily Allen, Amy Smart, Ashlee Simpson, and Sarah Polley.

Although the collection is independently designed and manufactured in North America, each season is inspired by a different city around the globe and we can’t wait to see where we go next.

Behind The Scenes: The Nutcracker

Over the break, I had my photoshoot for my styling class. Our class had decided that the story of our editorial to be The Nutcracker. The editorial would have four sections to it which were Clara, The Mouse King, The Nutcracker, and The Sugar Plum Fairy. We scoured through our closets and thrift stores for the clothing for the shoot (including my junior prom dress for the Sugar Plum Fairy). I was lucky enough to get the place for our photoshoot to make the story come to life at the Queen Anne Hotel in San Francisco. It's Victorian setting was perfect along with all the Christmas decorations. I took plenty of photos of it that will be in another post. We had great student photographers from the Academy and an amazing makeup artist. We also had incredibly beautiful models Katie and Hanna from Ford Models.

That was my model Hanna who was such a sweetheart. The photoshoot turned out so well and I can't wait to show you guys the final photos on Thursday.

These are some pictures from my birch trees I took a couple weeks ago. This will be the last blow of fall for me.

Alright, time to get ready for Christmas! I've been craving peppermint mochas everyday now.

So tomorrow I'll have a post on the behind the scenes stuff from the photoshoot and then I'll post the final photos from the photoshoot thursday. Sound good? The pictures turned out so good.
