OPI: Significant Other Color.
Awhile ago, I borrowed my nail polish from my friend Molly. It's the super cool, mermaid like colour that in some lights is green, purple, and pink. Definitely cool for spring/summer. :)
The ring was a gift from my boyfriend Parker from Valentine's Day. Happy April!

Envy.
I wore this two weeks ago on St. Patrick's Day to see my little sister's play of Mulan. It was super cute and it was cool to see my sister in theatre. Then the director, who is my old teacher from junior high, asked me to help design/style costumes for the next play. So if that works out, that would be a great opportunity.
Isn't the fur capelette amazing? I scored it at Urban Outfitters for $10. I have been looking for a faux fur vest forever. I've tried so many on and it was either the colour, price, material, or fit, wasn't right. But this is perfect; it's super warm and doesn't make me look puffy like some have. If you're okay with wearing faux fur, it's definitely a great timeless, piece to have in your closet.
Also, great for me, these pictures were taken by my boyfriend, Parker, so my tripod and self timer days are probably over. Thank the Lord.

Vintage blazer, Pin and Needles faux fur capelet, Simply Vera by Vera Wang long sleeve, Bullhead jeans, Dollhouse shoes, and old F21 purse.

Weather in the Bay Area has literally been hot and cold. So dressing lately has been totally weird. One day I am wishing I wore shorts and off to the beach and the next I'm out in my trench coat and rain boots wishing I was inside curled up in my bed watching Bones.
That's all for now. Busy weekend. I have to get out of Spring Break mode. Enjoy your weekend!

wednesday words #98.

Hello darlings! I have been pretty busy lately, I'm back in school and I'm going to be back at work. I've got a lot of things to show you from over my break.
While working on my blog over break, I tried looking into my Google Analytic (where you can see how many views your site has, where from, etc.) and it had gave out at some point, but I also think it is not as reliable. Then I looked into my Blogger and I was shocked by how many views there where. For a while, I had doubts that I was working really hard on my blog but it was going nowhere. I do have people come up to me and tell me they love and read my blog which is great, but I'm never sure who my blog really attracts. So it was really awesome to see that.
With that, I want to try harder on getting my blog more out there. I want my blog to inspire everyone. A place where people can sit down, scroll for a while, and take something from it. That's why I feel weird when I tell people that I have a "fashion blog" because I think that my blog has become a lot more than that. I mean, fashion will always be the core but there is also photography, travel, art, food, music, and movies. As I've said many times before, it's my life, and I'd like to share that with you dear reader. Thank you all.
Love, Jenae.

Rouge in Love.
This is a video in a series for Lancome. I just thought I'd share it because I thought it was super cute. Makes me miss French class for sure!

July 5th.
This Wednesday, I'm doing something a bit different. My boyfriend, Parker and I, have now been together for a week (even though it seems far longer than that). I met him this past summer on a last minute trip to Magic Mountain with my friends, Tessa and John-Marc. With Parker it was something so automatic and magical, it's almost hard to describe. But with excitement of spring and summer coming back around, I thought it would be a good time to show these pictures of the first day that Parker and I met.
On this day I was wearing Franco Sarto sunglasses, AE necklace, vintage tank top, and vintage Ralph Lauren shorts.
I hope you enjoyed these!

The Shell Shop.
It's finally Spring Break for me and I'm back after a long week of stress and chaos. A last month, my best friend Molly took me on a trip with her to Morro Bay in California. From the Bay Area it's about a 3 1/2 hour trip but it was definitely worth it. There, she introduced me to "The Shell Shop," and it is by far one of the coolest shops I've seen. Shell everything! It was so beautiful and it is cheap! I bought a lot of cool things and will buy more next time I go. There is so much inspiration from this shop that I bet dozens of collections could be designed from it.

Cannot wait to go again.
Love, Jenae.

hair of a dreamer.
Currently busy on three projects! Ugh, but for now here is a picture of my hair that I did a few weeks ago. It's basically three fishtail braids wrapped around my head. You can learn how to do it here. It took three tries but I did it. Super pretty.
Hope you had a good weekend. It's been sunny here in California!
Love, Jenae.
