I had my first day of college today. Oh boy whatta mess. Hope days to come are better. :) I have to get my siblings ready in the morning tomorrow. One starting junior high, the other starting high school; they must look like a 10. I kid.

RTW Show.

Two Saturdays ago I went to the Ready to Wear show in San Francisco with Inakkhi during San Francisco's Fashion Week. There were some other designers at the show but we were mostly there to see my friend's Alyssa Casares line, Alyssa Nicole. She by far had the best collection and it was great to see the pieces and her in person. And I was lucky enough to be handed the flowers in the end.

This was from last month when I had dinner in SF with the lovely Harry Go! We had some really great Vietnamese food in the Westfield food court it was good to catch up with him.

Earlier that day I went shopping by myself a bit around. I saw this watch on a blog maybe about a week ago and had to have it. I think it's perfection. Jeremy Scott designed a couple of watches for Swatch. As seen below.

I'm pretty sure you've all seen is collab with Adidas right? those awesome shoes with the wings on them? Yes.

Anyway, I had wanted a white watch for awhile and this one was pretty much prefect because it's already really cool with the wings and everything but if you wanted a plain white watch the wings are detachable. So I called up the Swatch store in SF and they had one left. So I went and picked it up for $70 which I put my grad money on. It's a great watch I thought it was worth it. (And yes I did look at other places online but it was in the $$$ range so seriously, it was the best price at the store.)

I'm off to the city again today. Enjoying your week so far? I hope so.

tie-dye party.

Last month, I hosted a tie-dye party with some friends. It was great fun and I was able to create some really cool pieces for myself and my siblings. I also got the chance to experiment with some new techniques and they came out pretty decent.

My mum and I have always admired Drew Barrymore. The way she could turn for a child actress to a beautiful woman who is so talented who can not only act but direct. From Whip It to this music video for Best Coast, it truly shows what she can do and it makes me even more excited to see what more she will create.

The cast for this is also perfect. I have had a girl crush on Chloe Mortez since 500 Days of Summer. Tyler Posey is very dreamy in this piece and Miranda Cosgrove does a respectable job. Also the styling in this video is superb. It's very edgy and modern but in a good way. I also love the hair on Veronica. I wish I could do something like that on a daily basis.
