update again.

Finally back from the Fashion Market. It was really cool looking the all the clothes and accessories for the store. I am really excited for the stuff that is coming in, like one of these rock crystal rings I've been searching and drooling over. I took some pictures and picked up some catalogs too. I wish I could upload and edit all the photos to show but my computer is still broken and I'm still on the iPad. They'll be posted eventually.

Also today was the first of two days for the Niles Fleamarket. I hope I didn't miss too much today. I'll definitely be on the prowl tomorrow looking for some great vintage finds. :)

I also have some outfits posts so that will have to wait too. Sorry guys. :/

Hello everyone! Sadly, my computer is still broken so I can't edit photos or so anything! :( I really hope it gets fixed soon! I have a lot of things coming up that I would like to share!

First:

Alyssa Bird is an amazing young local designer. I had recently interviewed her for The Hatchet. The collection will probably just as great as her last one. Would anyone like to join me in seeing the preview?

Second: I will be accompanying the owner of the local boutique Armadillo Bay in going to market. :D It's going to be fabulous!

Third: Hahaha, I'm getting my school schedule tomorrw.

Fourth: Antique Fleamarket in my area this weekend! I look foward to this event all summer! :)

My friend Raphael and I were bored the other day. So I headed out the door with my Marc By Marc Jacobs shirt and we spontaneously went to Ikea.

Then I helped him pick out shoes. He ended up getting the top two.

AAU Final Exhibiton.

Hello everyone! So as you know, last week I finished up my classes at AAU and had my final exhibition. Here is my work from my Fashion Illustration and Fashion Merchandising.



So basically everything in the middle is my work.



From when we had to use mixed media: aerial views of LA neighborhoods from an issue of Dwell magazine and a silhouette of my sister on some transparent fabric.

From when I drew a store front. Miette in the Ferry Building.

Fashion Merchandising project.

Basically we had to create a product and a mood board for it. It's called Bohemian Wrap-sody. Nimitha helped me with the name. :) So the idea is a headband that can be worn as a bracelette.

I learned so much from the great teachers that I had. Hopefully it will be the same if I decide to take fall classes too.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry, I've been busy this whole week. I"ll try to get something up tomorrow hopefully.

So, I finished my classes at AAU, what a great experience. Being surrounded by talented, inspirational, creative, and kind people was amazing. Especially when they completely supported and understood what I was talking about. It was great, I definitely came out of there with a new look on art, fashion, and the world. I will miss my city life, my second home. When I'm back in school next month I will probably be having city withdrawals.

So that's why I'm considering taking classes in the fall too. I'll have to see about that and I'll keep you updated on it.

I'll post up some pictures from the final exhibition soon.

Hello everyone! :) I've been pretty busy lately with school ending and not being home. I can't believe it will be over soon, such a great experience. But it will be good to have my other life back. I love the city so much though. I'll probably have pictures stuff up this weekend of all my other work I did at AAU.
